Ode to a hairdresser
How do I thank thee, Oh hairdresser of mine,
For making me look so utterly divine?
For handing me back my spunk and flair,
Especially each time I admire my new coiff of hair!
Feeling flat. Can't give it words. Just flat! Don't we all get there every now and then?! On Friday while I was preparing delectable snacks for the party I wrote about, I turned to Paddy and said, "I feel flat." I guess this is a husband's worst nightmare - having to guess what "flat" means, and then responding appropriately! I guess men feel it too...? Anyway, today was makeover day - a hairdresser's dream. I guess you can say that a husband's nightmare is a hairdresser's dream! Today Mel did it! I feel great! Ready to conquer the creative world! "No flat no more" as Bob Marley might have sung it! Makeovers are a must! A saviour! The solution! Have one!
Well, I'm off to watch the moon come up with my husband. Ciao!
P.S. Remember I told you I was going to look at alternative ways to fight electricity dependance? Well, if they made it more affordable, you and I could own a wind-generator. Watch this space...
